Disappointing date was disappointing.
Actually it was awesome and fun and just all around really good until he said he wasn’t interested in me.

I feel like I make these posts a lot. Anyways. Ahem.
Basically, to tl;dr my own thoughts, family problems. And then no internet. And tonight there will be more problems.
But I have greatly missed all y’all, and tomorrow I will respond to messages and do taggy things and all of that awesomeness. Don’t hate me?
◢ In which my sexual orientation is once again unacceptable/misunderstood.
So today was apparently the followup to “Let’s continue to question your sexual orientation, its validity and what it actually means.”
I explained myself in person, but I’d just like to say it again
Being asexual does not mean that the only person who can satisfy is myself.
It means I don’t look at people and think ‘Hey, I’d like to have sex with that person!’
I don’t understand why this is such a difficult concept to grasp. And I really don’t get why the only people I have told about my asexuality still believe that I’m the one who doesn’t get it.
What I do understand is that if someone had bothered to fit one sex ed class where it was mentioned that some people are asexual - and that doesn’t mean celibacy- then this would never have been a problem.
Younger siblings are some of the most frustrating creatures on the planet. Sometimes I want to just throw up my hands and offer the job of ‘older sister’ to anyone foolish enough to take it.
That being said, I’m always gonna love my sis.
